THE BMW I3 has 2X the kWh effeciency as the Model S

Should Tesla’s competitors sell batteries? kWh?
Or have they already seen through the ruse of the handicap that Musk has tied himself into since that sort of marketing strategy will hold no currency long term and confuse their existing customers.

***that is city range, which is ironically where the limitations of current battery tech are the least onerous. (charging speed , range, durability, drain )
***on the other hand extrapolate out 7% compounding battery performance improvements, not available to just Tesla, and the long range Ev becomes a tautology eventually.
