Why collusion is a big deal in the stock market

Why collusion is a big deal in the stock market?
Whether one believes in the fraud on the market as an investment managers defense  for trying to rig stock prices is one thing. However, when management involve themselves with investors to set the price, that is illegal and a prisonable  offense. It is also wildly distortive, and in Musk case, leading to massive misallocations of production capacity based on story stock theories and the like.

Musk has a lot of fans and admirers in powerful places. But so did Ken Lay.

WHY IT MATTERS:

“Collusion is illegal because it interferes with the natural market forces of supply and demand and harms consumers by inhibiting competition.”

***many of the stock commentators speaking on Tesla are not willing to take this leap. They think there is no proof.
